Xiaomi will unveil the 12T series with a 200MP camera on October 4, and today the company announced that it will also introduce a new tablet on the same day, dubbed the Redmi Pad.
While the 12T series will be showcased in Munich, Germany, the Redmi Pad will be showcased through an event in India that will start at noon local time.

The Redmi Pad is advertised as the “right choice for entertainment, games, e-learning and navigation”. The image shared by the Chinese brand reveals that the Redmi Pad will come in green color, with the rear panel sporting an 8MP camera. However, a separate image shared on Xiaomi’s official website tells us that there will also be a gray colored model.
Xiaomi hasn’t disclosed any Redmi Pad specs yet, but previous rumors have revealed that the tablet will ship with the Helio G99 SoC, Android 12-based MIUI and up to 4GB of RAM and up to 128GB of storage.
The Redmi Pad will be built around a 10.61 “90Hz LCD display with a resolution of 2,000×1,200 pixels and will contain an 8,000mAh battery with an 18W charge. However, the supplied adapter will go as far as at 22.5 W.
The tablet will also have four built-in Dolby Atmos certified speakers and an 8MP camera in the front with a 105 ° FOV. The color options will be graphite gray, moonshine silver, and mint green.
It is worth mentioning that these are the specifications of the Wi-Fi model and the cellular version is said to have a different screen (11.2 “) and battery (7,800 mAh). We do not know which variant will be launched on Tuesday.
