Realme launched Realme 10 Pro last November in three colors: Dark Matter, Nebula Blue and Hyperspace Gold. And a few weeks ago, the company unveiled a limited edition 10 Pro designed in collaboration with Coca-Cola, dubbed the Realme 10 Pro 5G Coca-Cola Edition. We got one from Realme, so let’s see how it’s different from the regular 10 Pro.

Realme 10 Pro 5G Coca-Cola Edition comes in a special package that is slightly higher than the standard model’s retail package. It ditches the black-yellow color scheme for a Coke-inspired black-red theme and features a cut-out Coca-Cola logo, something we also see on the smartphone itself.

The retail box of Realme 10 Pro 5G Coca-Cola Edition reflects light from different angles, and although Realme is advertising the smartphone with the Deluxe Boxset, which includes the actual phone booth and Realmeow Coca-Cola figure, it is only the phone booth that customers will appreciate receiving upon purchase. The big box and Realmeow Coca-Cola Figure are not for sale and were sent to the media only.

Even then, the Realme 10 Pro 5G Coca-Cola Edition retail package includes a few goodies that you won’t get with the standard version. For starters, there are 29 Coke-themed DIY stickers, and while these might not be to everyone’s taste, there’s a custom SIM card needle inspired by the Coke bottle cap , which is much nicer than the ones we usually get with most other smartphones.

In addition, the package includes a limited number card in the shape of a Coca-Cola can that indicates which of the 6,000 globally available Coca-Cola Edition units you own. Ours is number 841.

The Realme 10 Pro 5G Coca-Cola Edition retail box also includes the usual set of accessories: a transparent protective case, a charging cable, a 33W SuperVOOC power adapter and some paperwork.

We now turn our attention to the telephone. The Realme 10 Pro 5G Coca-Cola Edition shares hardware with the standard version but sports a Coca-Cola inspired design. Its back panel is treated with a “matte imitation coating process” to provide the “elegant touch of brushed aluminum while remaining resistant to scratches and fingerprints.” The idea is to make the phone feel like a can of Coke when you hold it, and we have to say that the matte finish on the back cover is pleasant to the touch and resists fingerprints. And like its box, the back of the Coca-Cola Edition also reflects light from different angles.

The back panel of the Coca-Cola Edition sports what Realme calls Red & Black Collision: 70/30 Asymmetrical Black Design as 30% of the panel is in black color and 70% in red. The black stripe sports the Realme moniker, while the red area features the cut-out Coca-Cola logo. There is another Coca-Cola logo engraved on the right frame of the smartphone.

You can also see that the two cameras on the back are surrounded by red color rings, which gives a nice contrasting look to the limited edition 10 Pro. Realme calls this Camera Lens Halo.

Realme has extended the Coca-Cola theme to the phone UI. With the Realme 10 Pro 5G Coca-Cola Edition, you get a Coca-Cola inspired lock screen showing the Coca-Cola version of Realmeow, with app icons having a bubble element as they are surrounded by a red ring.

System app icons have also been customized by Realme. There are 24 of them, although depending on the market you may not have the entire set pre-installed. Our unit only came with 19 custom app icons.

It is worth mentioning that this is achieved through the “Cheers! For Real” theme, which can be found in the Themes menu. It is selected by default, but you can use other themes if you like.

There is more to the Realme 10 Pro 5G Coca-Cola Edition UI than just custom apps. The smartphone has a bubbling charging animation, which mimics the bubbles in bottles of the drink.

It also comes with a new ringtone and notification sounds. Official Cola music can be used as ringtone and notification sound, while Open Happiness and Cola Bubbles tones are only available as alert tones.

Realme has also shown some bubbly love for the camera department as the default camera app on the Realme 10 Pro 5G Coca-Cola Edition comes with an “80s Cola” filter accessible via Street Mode and a new camera shutter sound of bottle opening called “Special Edition.” It’s enabled by default, so if you prefer the original shutter sound instead, you can switch by going to your default camera app Settings > Shutter sound menu.

We are glad that Realme customized the UI of Realme 10 Pro 5G Coca-Cola Edition and didn’t add another GT Neo 3 150W Thor Love and Thunder Limited Edition (hands-on) since the GT Neo 3 150W Thor Edition is only the regular GT Neo 3 150W Nitro Blue version with 12GB RAM and 256GB storage, available in a special retail package.

The standard Realme 10 Pro has two memory options: 6GB/128GB and 8GB/128GB, priced in India at INR 18,999 ($230/€220) and INR 19,999 ($240/€230) respectively. The Coca-Cola Edition comes in a single 8GB/128GB configuration, priced at ₹20,999 ($255 / €240). If you are looking for a phone that is a collector’s item, you can consider buying the Realme 10 Pro 5G Coca-Cola Edition instead of the regular model.

The Realme 10 Pro 5G Coca-Cola Edition is currently sold out on Realme’s official Indian website and Flipkart which is expected since Realme has only made 6,000 of them for sale in its markets, but you can still find it in some stores main in India.

The Realme 10 Pro 5G Coca-Cola Edition is currently exclusive to India and we have yet to see it launch elsewhere. But whether you are planning to buy the limited edition or the regular 10 Pro, you might want to read the detailed review of our standard Realme 10 Pro since it has the same hardware as the Coca-Cola Edition.
