The first of Realme’s 10 series phones is here and it focuses on performance and efficiency. Simply called Realme 10, this phone ditches its predecessor’s Snapdragon 680 in favor of a MediaTek Helio G99.
Realme boasts of the 400K score in AnTuTu, which its 40% more than Realme 9 succeeded. The new chipset has 25% faster CPU performance and uses 20% less power.
There are configurations with 4GB, 6GB and 8GB of RAM, which can be expanded up to 8GB of virtual RAM. Realme used UFS 2.2 for storage (64-256GB) and advertises 50% faster cold launches (and 40% faster hot launches) than Realme 9. That also used UFS 2.2, so some other optimizations they must be in play.
The G99 chipset and its Mali-G57 MC2 GPU promise to deliver 40fps gameplay on PUBG. Also note that Realme has kept the microSD slot so you can add up to 1 TB of additional storage.

While PUBG can’t hit 90fps, some lighter games might. The Realme 10 features a 6.4-inch (1,080 x 2,400 px) Super AMOLED display with 90 Hz refresh rate and 360 Hz touch sample rate. With a maximum brightness of 1,000 nits and Gorilla Glass 5 protection , sounds exactly like the Realme 9 display.
The camera, however, doesn’t – the Realme 10 has undergone a major downgrade in this department compared to its predecessor. It comes with a basic 50MP main camera (1 / 2.76 “JN1 sensor) and a 2MP depth sensor (not ultra wide angle). For comparison, Realme 9 had a 108MP main camera (1 / 1.67 “) and an ultra-wide 8MP camera.
The battery is as before: 5,000 mAh of capacity with support for fast charging of 33 W. However, Realme managed to reduce the charge cycle by a few minutes. The Realme 10 needs 28 minutes to reach 50% and 70 minutes for a full charge (compared to 31 minutes at 50% and 75 minutes at 100%).
The Realme 10 will be available soon. The following are the global prices for the various memory configurations:
