After Pixel 8 Pro renders surfaced today, we now get our first look at the regular Pixel 8 thanks to a new batch of CAD-based renders. At first glance, the images show few changes to the Pixel 7’s overall design, but the phone will indeed arrive with altered dimensions from its predecessor.

The Pixel 8 is said to come in at 150.5 x 70.8 x 8.9mm, which is 5mm shorter and 2.4mm narrower than the Pixel 7. The next Pixel phone is said to come with a 5.8 inches compared to the Pixel 7’s 6.3-inch diagonal. The renders also show noticeably thinner bezels around the Pixel 8’s screen and the same centered punch hole.

Elsewhere, the phone boasts dual rear-facing cameras housed in the signature visor. The phone appears to have an aluminum frame again with the volume and power buttons on the right side while the USB-C port sits on the bottom next to the speaker cutout. Based on rumors, the phone is expected to feature Google’s Tensor G3 chipset just like the Pixel 8 Pro.

The Google Pixel 8 series is expected to be announced at Google I/O 2023, which kicks off on May 10.
