A report earlier this week claimed Oppo is under fire in Australia, as Nokia is suing the company for breaching its 4G and 5G technologies. We received a statement from an Oppo spokesperson regarding the alleged cause:
So far, we have not been notified of any legal action against OPPO in Australia. We continue to operate normally in all markets except Germany, where sales and marketing of the products affected by this legal case are temporarily suspended.
We have negotiated proactively with Nokia and will continue to work diligently to resolve this issue fairly.
Sales of Oppo in Germany are currently suspended but court cases are still pending. This means that there is no final ban, we may still see a different result.
