Oppo introduced the ColorOS 13 in August and the same month they released the beta version to the flagship Find X5 line. The testing period is over and the company is pushing its first stable update today.

The official version is reaching selected regions and countries. Oppo Find X5 Pro phones in Thailand, Vietnam, Indonesia, Malaysia, France and Australia will start receiving notifications for an upcoming software update. The same goes for Oppo Find X5 users in the United Arab Emirates and France.

The new UI is based on Android 13, Oppo confirmed during the launch four weeks ago. It comes with visual changes with rounder panels and widgets, more colors and finally Material You has made its way too. Other features include animated effects, AOD enhancements, and playback control which Spotify now supports.

The functional change brings improvements in terms of privacy and security. We went through the user interface and looked at all the key features like pixelization of avatars and names in screenshots and better collaboration between devices with Windows laptops and Oppo Air tablets.
