Oppo has a new A series phone for the Indian market called Oppo A77 4G. This is a mid-range offering with a 6.56-inch IPS LCD, Helio G35 chipset, and a 50MP main cam. Oppo had already launched its A77 5G in June, although that device was equipped with a Dimensity 810 chipset and a 90Hz refresh rate.

The new Oppo A77 4G has a 6.56-inch IPS LCD with HD + resolution and a standard refresh rate of 60Hz. There is a water drop cutout on the top for the 8MP selfie cam. The rear houses a 50MP main cam and 2MP depth mount.

The phone is IP5X dust resistant and IPX4 water resistant. MediaTek’s Helio G35 sits at the helm aided by 4GB of RAM while storage reaches 64GB and is expandable via the microSD card slot. There is a 5,000mAh battery with 33W charging support. The software front is covered by ColorOS 12.1 based on Android 12.

The Oppo A77 4G is available in Sunset Orange which features a fiberglass-skin design that debuted on the Oppo F21 Pro and Sky Blue colors. Pricing is set at INR 15,499 ($ ​​196) for the single 4GB RAM and 64GB of storage.
