Samsung introduced the Exynos 2400 chipset with a 14.7x boost in AI performance, and we expect to see the platform debut with the Galaxy S24 series. According to leakster Ice Universe, the SoC will be the biggest update in terms of artificial intelligence with “many new AI features” and a virtual assistant “more powerful than Bixby”.
The leakster claimed that the Samsung Galaxy S24 will bring more attention to artificial intelligence. The series will introduce OneUI 6.1 with the significantly improved Bixby virtual assistant and “the biggest AI update in history.”
The Galaxy S24 smartphones will have a new Xclipse 940 GPU, which is expected to offer mobile ray tracing for games developed with this feature in mind. The chip is likely based on a new 4nm LPP+ process and has a 10-core CPU, of which the main one is Cortex-X4 at 3.1 GHz.
Those speeds, combined with LPDDR5X RAM UFS 4.0 storage and a new Exynos 5300 modem, will no doubt make the Galaxy S24 series blazingly fast across the board, but we’ll have to wait until launch to know where it stacks up against its peers.
