The nubia Z50 flagship was launched in December with a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset and a custom 35mm-equivalent primary camera with a 64MP Sony IMX787 sensor. The phone originally came in three colors: black, white, and vegan leather green, and now the phone has a fourth option: red.

The design celebrates the Year of the Rabbit and the phone arrives just in time for the Chinese New Year which is January 22nd.

The new ZTE brand phone has a golden rabbit on the outside and a custom theme and icon pack. The nubia Z50 Year of the Rabbit Special Edition will only be available with 12GB of RAM and 512GB of storage.

The price has not yet been announced. It is likely to be the same as the other colors in that memory: CNY 3,999, which is about $590. Sales of the nubia Z50 will start tomorrow, January 12, exclusively at ZTE Mall.
