Motorola’s upcoming Razr 40 Ultra has been the subject of many leaks and rumors lately, most recently we saw it in official-looking promotional materials last week. Today we get a leaked spec sheet and the choice of chipset may not appeal to everyone.

That’s because, according to a new report, the foldable phone will eschew the latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC and instead opt for its predecessor, the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1. Of course it’s still a great high-end performer, it’s just not the last – and presumably Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy Z Flip5, which is expected to launch in July and compete head-on with the Razr 40 Ultra, Want sports the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2.

It is expected to run Android 13 with Motorola’s My UX on top. With so many leaks and rumors, hopefully the phone will become official sooner rather than later.
