Motorola unveiled the Moto G52 earlier this week for European markets, but obviously it won’t be limited to those for long. In fact, a new rumor today, coming from an “industry source”, says the Moto G52 will be launched in India by the end of this month.

Not only that, but we also have an approximate price, what Motorola is aiming for with this device, and that’s the range of INR 20,000 or so. So expect the actual price to come just below or above this threshold.

Moto G52 will be launched in India this month, the rumor says

Interestingly (or strangely) the Indian Moto G52 has a pOLED display instead of an AMOLED – with this being interpreted in marketing as “more shock resistant than AMOLED”. While this may or may not be true, it is clear that there are several vendors involved, with Samsung supplying those AMOLEDs and another company selling pOLEDs to Motorola for the Indian version of this device.

The screen of the Indian Moto G52 will also be a bit smaller than that of the European version, at 6.5 “compared to 6.6”, but it retains the same FHD + resolution and 90Hz refresh rate.

The European model is just 7.99mm thick and weighs just 169g, but it’s unclear whether the Indian variant will keep the same numbers in this area. Both G52 versions are powered by the Snapdragon 680 SoC and have a triple rear camera setup, with a 50MP main unit, an 8MP ultrawide, and a 2MP macro shooter. There’s also a 16MP camera on the front and a 5,000mAh battery with 33W fast charging support.
