Yesterday a source shared alleged pricing information for Samsung’s Galaxy Watch6 family, and today another whistleblower on Twitter has a few more details on the smartwatches – and these have apparently been approved by Ice Universeone of the best known leaksters around.

All members of the Galaxy Watch6 family are expected to sport thinner bezels and larger screens than their predecessors. They will be powered by the Exynos W930 chipset, built on a 5nm process. And they will all have 2GB of RAM and 16GB of storage. That’s half a gig more RAM than the previous generation.

The Galaxy Watch6 is said to have a 300mAh battery in its 40mm iteration (up from 284mAh in its predecessor) and 425mAh for the 44mm model (which has grown from 410mAh).

Surprisingly or not, the two sizes of the Watch6 Classic will share capabilities with the Watch6: the 43mm model gets 300mAh and the 47mm version will have to make do with 425mAh.

It’s a far cry from last year’s Galaxy Watch5 Pro, which came with a relatively large 590mAh cell, but there are still minor improvements across the board over the “vanilla” Watch5 models.

Either way, the colors that will most commonly launch in most markets around the world are presumably graphite and gold for the 40mm watch6 and graphite and silver for the rest. As Samsung usually does, there will likely be multiple nuances, each limited to a specific set of markets.

The Galaxy Watch6 family is expected to make its official debut in the last week of July at an Unpacked event that Samsung will host in Korea, alongside the Galaxy Z Flip5, Galaxy Z Fold5 and Galaxy Tab S9 series.
