Now that we’ve got the new Poco M5 out of the box, it’s time to do the same with its counterpart, the Poco M5.

The Poco M5 comes with almost the same accessories in the box: a USB cable, a carrying case, a plastic screen protector, a SIM tool, and a charger. Just instead of a 33W brick, the M5 gets a slower 22.5W one.

The Poco M5 is slightly larger than the M5s, mainly due to its larger display. It’s an IPS LCD for the M5’s AMOLED, but it’s 6.58 inches by 6.43 inches and is faster at 90Hz.

Then there is the chipset. It’s the MediaTek Helio G99, based on TSMC’s 6nm process, which is expected to achieve much better life on the same 5,000mAh battery. The Helio G99 has an eight-core processor with two 2.2GHz Cortex-A76 CPU cores and six 2.0GHz Cortex-A55 drives, and is paired with 4GB or 6GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 64GB or 128 GB of UFS 2.2 memory. There is microSD card expansion and a 3.5mm audio jack.
