A clear picture of the Xiaomi Redmi K50S Pro is slowly starting to take shape. This phone is said to be the first Xiaomi with a 200MP camera perhaps the first, depending on how the launch times work against Motorola (the 200MP Moto phone was supposed to be out in July, but it appears to have been delayed).
Either way, that 200MP camera looks impressive, but coupled with the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset they may have consumed all the budget. The other two cameras on the back are said to be an 8MP ultra wide base and a 2MP macro (plus a 20MP camera on the front). These are the specifications reported by the leaker Yogesh Brar.

The rest of the phone will be level, including the 6.67-inch AMOLED display with 120Hz refresh rate and HDR10 + support. The phone should boot with Android 12 / MIUI 13 out of the box and (according to TENAA data) will have 8/128 GB and 12/256 GB memory configurations.
Brar confirms other specs such as the 5,000mAh battery with 120W fast charging. The phone is also expected to be equipped with an in-display fingerprint reader and dual speakers.
By the way, a vanilla Xiaomi Redmi K50S is also expected, powered by the Dimensity 8100. These two will reportedly be renamed Xiaomi 12T and 12T Pro for the global market. There is no confirmed launch date yet.
