Apple’s first OLED MacBook will arrive by the end of 2024. According to analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, Apple expects to ship the OLED MacBook in later stages next year, so don’t hold your breath sooner.
Kuo says OLED will bring some advantages over the mini-LED that Apple currently uses in the MacBook Pro 14 and 16 and iPad Pro 12. It will allow for thinner and lighter devices in more diverse form factors. On a side note, OLED also allows for foldable devices.
