The Realme C55 which surfaced online recently will be launched on March 7th. This revelation comes from the Indonesian branch of Realme, which has created a promotional page on its official website revealing the launch date and sales date of the C55 (March 8) in the Asian country.
The Realme C55 is also listed on the Realme Indonesia online store. It does not reveal the price of the C55 but confirms the specifications and design of the smartphone. Realme C55 will be powered by Helio G88 SoC and run Realme UI 4.0 based on Android 13. It will have two memory configurations: 6GB/128GB and 8GB/256GB. The former will support expanding virtual RAM up to 6GB, and the latter up to 8GB. Both models will have a dedicated microSD card slot for memory expansion up to 1TB.
The Realme C55 will include a 6.72-inch FullHD+ 90Hz screen with a peak brightness of 680 nits and a punch-hole in the center for the 8MP selfie camera. But more interestingly, the smartphone will come with the configuration similar to Dynamic Apple’s Island, called the Mini Capsule. It will display low-battery alerts, phone charge status, data usage, step count, and the day’s walking distance. The last two won’t be available right away, and are coming soon. later via OTA.
On the back, the Realme C55 will sport a dual camera setup featuring a 64MP camera. And under the hood, it will have a 5,000mAh battery with 33W charging, an upgrade over the C35’s 18W charging and a first for a C-series smartphone. We probably won’t see any C-series smartphone from Realme charging slower. of 33W in 2023 as the company recently announced that most Realme smartphones this year will support 33W or faster charging.
The rest of the Realme C55’s highlights include a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, USB-C, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. It will also have an integrated NFC chip and come with audio tuning by Dirac. The C55 will be 7.89mm thick and come in two color options: Rainy Night and Sunshower.

We will know more about the Indonesian prices of the Realme C55 next Tuesday during its launch event, which will be live streamed starting at 1pm local time. The C55 is also expected to launch in India soon, but there is no news yet from Realme’s Indian division.
