The OnePlus Nord 2T 5G will go official on May 19th at 16:00 CEST (i.e. 14:00 GMT, 15:00 UK time). This information comes directly from OnePlus itself, who sent emails about the event today. There is also a landing page at the top, where you can see the underside of the back of the phone from a few angles.
If you’re interested in learning more, however, you don’t have to wait until next week – earlier this month we saw a list of dealers pretty much everything you’d want to know about the device, and so I also received a pre-launch unboxing for good fit.
The Nord 2T 5G has a 6.43-inch AMOLED FHD + display with 90Hz refresh rate and a 32MP selfie camera that resides within the perforated cutout on the left. The phone is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 1300 SoC, aided by up to 12GB of RAM and up to 256GB of storage. The phone has a 4,500mAh battery with 80W charging support and runs Android 12 with OxygenOS 12 on top of the box.
The cameras on the back are a 50MP main unit with OIS, an 8MP ultrawide, and a 2MP monochrome. The price should be around $ 399 for the 8/128 GB version.
