More than two months have passed, and Google is now announcing that original replacement parts for Pixel smartphones can now be purchased via the iFixit website. The site sells popular electronics replacement kits, tool sets, and provides clear repair guides for anyone looking to tackle a DIY repair.
Google Pixel 5
iFixit offers replacement parts for all Pixel generations dating back to the original (although some original Pixel parts may be out of stock). A Google Pixel 6 Pro display replacement kit costs $ 193 and a similar Google Pixel 5a kit costs $ 93. A Pixel 6 battery replacement kit costs $ 43 and a Google Pixel 5 screen replacement kit costs $ 150.
If you have an old or new Pixel phone and are willing to tackle a DIY repair on your own, head to the iFixit landing page to see all the parts available for Google’s smartphones.
