Huawei will unveil the Mate X3 foldable smartphone on March 23 in China at an event starting at 2:30 pm local time. The company hasn’t divulged much about the foldable, but DSCC CEO Ross Young has revealed some details about the Mate X3’s display.

Young says the Huawei Mate X3 will feature a 7.85-inch foldable display, which is 0.15 inches smaller than the Mate X2’s foldable screen. However, the display diagonal of the cover will remain the same – 6.45″.

The DSCC CEO also said that the Mate X3 will be Huawei’s first smartphone to use ultra-thin glass (UTG), with the screens manufactured by BOE.
