HTC officially unveiled the HTC U23 Pro which was leaked earlier this month. It’s built around a 6.7″ FullHD+ OLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate and Gorilla Glass Victus protection. The display has a centered punch-hole for the 32MP selfie camera, but lacks a fingerprint scanner underneath. as it is built into the pulsing power on the right side of the phone.

Around the back, we have a rectangular camera island that houses a flash and four cameras: 108MP primary (with OIS), 8MP ultrawide, 5MP macro, and 2MP depth.

Under the hood, the HTC U23 Pro has the Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 SoC with 8GB or 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. It also has a microSD card slot for memory expansion and runs Android 13 out of the box.

HTC U23 Pro comes pre-installed with the VIVERSE app and is compatible with the VIVE XR Elite mixed reality headset, sold separately. Additionally, the U23 Pro has IP67 dust and water resistance, and powering the whole package is a 4,600mAh battery with 30W wired charging and 15W wireless charging. It also supports reverse wireless charging.

The rest of the highlights of the HTC U23 Pro include 5G support, Wi-Fi 6 connectivity, NFC, USB-C and a 3.5mm headphone jack.

The HTC U23 Pro is available in two colors and memory configurations: 8GB/256GB and 12GB/256GB, priced at TWD 16,990 ($550/€510/INR 45,505) and TWD 17,990 ($585/€ 540/INR 48.185), respectively. It is available in Taiwan via HTC’s official Taiwanese website, but we are yet to know about its availability in other markets.
