Honor has confirmed that its next flagship smartphone will launch on November 23 at a special launch event in China from 2.30pm local time (6.30am UTC). The phone in question could be the Honor Magic5 which is expected to debut with the upcoming Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset which debuts at next week’s annual Snapdragon Summit.
Based on the rumors, Magic5 is expected to carry a 6.8-inch display with PWM dimming, a 50MP main camera with ISP AI running, 100W and 50W wireless charging. The phone will also be IP-68 rated and we can expect it to launch the latest Android 13-based MagicOS iteration. Chances are we’ll see more Honor teasers in the days leading up to the event, so we’ll keep you posted.
