The Honor 80 series arrived in November 2022 and the company is now finalizing the development of the 90 range. According to well-known tipster Digital Chat Station, the new Pro version will be a slight upgrade over its predecessor, keeping the same display, chipset and main camera .

The leakster compared the phone to the previously unreleased Oppo Reno 10 Pro+, stating that the Honor 90 Pro will be “inferior”.

Honor 80 series debuts 160MP main cameras, 66W charging

The Honor 90 Pro will have a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset with a 3.0GHz main CPU core. The display will have a 1224p resolution and there will still be dual selfie cameras within dual punch holes.

The biggest news is that Honor will stick to the Samsung ISOCELL HP3 sensor which theoretically outputs 200MP images. The Honor 80 Pro was limited to 160MP and we have to wait and see if the company will take advantage of its full resolution this time around.
