Last year the Honor 80 and Honor 80 Pro hit the market sporting the 200MP Samsung ISOCELL HP3 main camera sensor, only that neither phone used it to its fullest, instead dropping it to 160MP for any reason. This information comes from the prolific and well-known Chinese leakster Digital Chat Station who also claims that the next generation will correct this disgrace.

In fact, we’ve already heard that the Honor 90 and Honor 90 Pro will feature exactly the same main camera hardware as their predecessors, but this time around, all 200MP will be used, Digital Chat Station now says.

Honor 90 and Honor 90 Pro use the 200MP main camera

The Honor 90 and Honor 90 Pro will go official on May 29 and are pictured above: Honor 90 on left, Honor 90 Pro on right. The Pro will allegedly be powered by the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC and comes with a 1224p curved display and 90W fast charging support. The Honor 90, on the other hand, only goes up to 66W.
