We’ve been hearing rumors about a sturdy Apple Watch for over a year and Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman he believes it will be called the Apple Watch Pro. The new Pro model watch will carry a more durable titanium case and will have a larger screen than the current 1.9-inch panel on the 45mm Series 7 watch.
The Apple Watch Pro’s screen is said to be more shock resistant, and the watch will bring advanced sports tracking for swimming and hiking, a larger battery, and new health sensors. Apple will aim the Pro Watch at extreme sports enthusiasts who would otherwise opt for a Garmin smartwatch. Gurman expects the new Apple Watch Pro to start at $ 900- $ 999 when it goes on sale. He also says Apple will likely drop its high-end Watch Edition model.
