Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman outlined Apple’s plans for the iPad in his popular Power On newsletter. Apple will unveil the biggest iPad Pro update since 2018.

The two new iPad Pro models will launch in spring or early summer of 2024. They will be 11-inch and 13-inch (a slight upgrade to the 12.9-inch), and both will have OLED screens. The current 11-inch iPad has an LCD display, while the 12.9-inch one has a Mini-LED panel.

Both tablets will use the M3 chip, which Apple is expected to preview in a Mac refresh later this year. The new iPad Pros are being tested with model identifiers J717, J718, J720 and J721.
