Version 38.8 of the Play Store is available, and Google adds the ability to remotely uninstall apps from devices connected to the same account. Remote uninstall is supposed to work on all platforms: PC, Car, Phone, TV and Wear.

As of now, you can only install apps on devices with the same Google account, but you can’t remove them. The new feature also lets you uninstall, and the new Play Store UI compiles all installed apps into a more manageable list. For example, you can sort by size, group by device, etc.

This could be especially useful when managing Android TV, Android Auto, or Wear OS apps, as their interfaces are a bit more limited. It will be much easier to install and uninstall apps using your desktop browser or your Android phone.

The new version of the app has not yet reached all users, so it may take some time before you get the latest functionality.
