The Google Pixel 8 duo will make its debut on October 4, but by now we know almost everything there is to know about Google’s high-end phones for 2023. Except for one small detail: what the new colors look like. A previous leak had already revealed the color variants but without any visual confirmation.
The Pixel 8 Pro will apparently launch in Obsidian, Porcelain, and Sky Blue colors. Interestingly, the Sky Blue paint job has appeared in the most recent live images of the Pixel 8a. Only the Obsidian coloring carries over from the Pixel 7 Pro.

The vanilla Pixel 8, on the other hand, will launch in Peony Rose, Gray, and Obsidian, with the latter once again being the only familiar color.

In addition to the new colors, the Pixel 8 duo adopts a more rounded design and ditches the sharp corners of last year’s Pixel 7 family. The camera sensor design is also new on the 8 Pro, with all cameras placed behind a single piece of glass instead of two.
