Motorola’s Moto G53 debuted in China last week with the Snapdragon 480+ SoC and 5G support. A new report now suggests that the global variant will have slightly different specifications. A previous leak also shows the design, which is not much different from the Chinese iteration.

Perhaps the two most notable differences are the display and the chipset. The global version is expected to arrive with the new Snapdragon 4 Gen 1 SoC, while the display will be upgraded to a 6.6-inch OLED panel with FHD+ resolution and 90Hz refresh rate.

The base storage configuration is said to be 6GB/128GB and the rear will sport a 50MP main shooter, 8MP ultrawide camera and 2MP macro unit. The selfie snapper will have a resolution of 16MP.

A 5,000mAh battery will power the Moto G53, but its charging speed is yet to be confirmed.

So the global G53 is shaping up to be a very different and quite profitable device. The price remains to be confirmed.
