In 2018, ecosystem brand Xiaomi Duoqin launched its first generation Qin feature phone with 4G connectivity and several smart features such as apps and an AI assistant. Now, Duoqin is turning a new page with Qin3 Ultra, a 5-inch Android smartphone aiming to eliminate distractions from everyday life.

The device comes with its own custom Android 12 interface and its own app store which does not include games, social media apps and short video apps. Duoqin is targeting this device for schoolchildren and students in an effort to eliminate unwanted distractions.

Qin 3 Ultra packs a 5.02-inch display with HD+ resolution and a punch hole for its 5MP front camera. The rear houses an 8MP main shooter and an LED flash. The handset weighs just 118 grams and features a modern design with flat edges.

There is a MediaTek G99 chipset under the hood paired with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. The phone has a 2,500mAh battery with seven days of standby time and 9 hours of talk time.

Duoqin Qin 3 Ultra is available in black, pink and gold colors. The price is set at CNY 1,599 ($232) and the device is already on open sale in China.
