Asus has followed a strict release schedule for its smartphone line over the past few years. The Zenfone series consists of compact flagships while the ROG Phone series targets the gaming-oriented audience with flagship specs and larger screen sizes. Asus is expected to launch a Zenfone 11 soon, but this time it may finally offer a larger-screen version of its flagship.
A new leak discovered by Reddit user Td3v1l as we dig into the latest firmware update ROG 8 gives us our first look at the Zenfone 11 Ultra with a set of renders, including retail packaging and a detailed spec sheet.

As the name suggests, this will be a larger version of the regular Zenfone 11 and looks very close to the ROG 8 Pro in terms of design. Asus may be trying a new approach by targeting a wider audience with the Zenfone 11 Ultra featuring a more mainstream design than the ROG Phone 8 series.

The attached spec sheet confirms that the Zenfone 11 Ultra will share most of its key specs with the ROG Phone 8/8 Pro but with a screen refresh rate of 144Hz instead of the ROG Phone 8’s 165Hz.

The Zenfone 11 Ultra will feature Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset with 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 512GB of UFS 4.0 storage. The device will also boast a 6.78-inch LTPO AMOLED display with 1,080 x 2,400 px resolution and a 32MP front camera punch-hole. The leaked specs also show the same camera setup consisting of a 50MP IMX890 main sensor, a 32MP telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom, and a 13MP ultrawide lens.

The battery is 5,500 mAh and will support 65W wired charging and 15W wireless charging.
Zenfone 11 Ultra will be available in Eternal Black, Skyline Blue, Misty Grey, Verdure Green and Desert Sienna.
