Dubai-based Caviar, known for its custom luxury devices, today announced the Apple Vision Pro Caviar Edition, also called the CVR Edition. The Vision Pro is advertised as a “space computer” by Apple, and Caviar says their idea behind the CVR Edition was to turn this space computer into a work of design art.
The luxury brand drew inspiration for the Apple Vision Pro Caviar Edition from Tom Ford’s flip-up glasses and Gucci’s balaclavas to transform the headphones into a “culmination of technology and style”.
The Apple Vision Pro Caviar Edition and its protective mask are decorated with over 1.5 kg of 18-karat gold, while the bow is made of Connolly leather – also supplied to the British Royal Court and Rolls-Royce – to ensure a comfortable and indulgent experience for the owner.
Apple Vision Pro CVR Edition
Those who have read about Vision Pro will know that Apple’s first AR/VR headset uses EyeSight, which makes the device transparent showing the user’s eyes when worn and someone approaches. While EyeSight provides visual cues to others that you’re busy when you’re immersed in an environment or using an app, Caviar has decided to offer a privacy option on the CVR edition to allow users to hide their eyes on the external screen since the company found that not everyone appreciates having their eyes displayed on the screen.

While the Apple Vision Pro is priced at $3,499, the Vision Pro CVR Edition is expected to have a whopping starting price of $39,900. Caviar will produce just 24 units of the Apple Vision Pro Caviar Edition, which it expects to launch in the fall of 2024.
