iPhones are now shipping and our iPhone 15 Pro Max has arrived too! So here’s an unboxing as we begin reviewing this technological beast. The USB cable inside the phone box is rarely new, but in this case it is: the braided USB-C cable is the first to ship with any iPhone and is perfectly compatible with any USB-C device – progress is here !
Luckily for us, we have the Natural Titanium, which looks as unique as a phone nowadays. Apple says it takes 14 hours to make and is a nice mix of silver and light copper. It also looks different from the sleek, sharp iPhone Pros of the past. It’s softer to the touch but, more importantly, it’s also noticeably lighter.
The phone’s frame has a discreet, almost matte finish. The new USB-C port looks almost identical to the old one. On the other hand, the new Action button, which replaces the mute switch, is noticeably different. It’s a tactile little button, but on the big Pro Max it feels a little tall. It’s in the wrong place to be convenient as a camera shutter.
The coloring of natural titanium is unique
In front of the iPhone 15 Pro Max it is indistinguishable from the old one, apart from the titanium frame. The display size and specs are identical, but they were already among the best.
