Amazfit began expanding the availability of the Bip 3 and Bip 3 Pro smartwatches last month, and the vanilla model launched on Amazon India before the end of June. The Pro is taking a little longer, but is finally ready to launch in the country.

It will be available from July 7 (Thursday) on the official online store and via Flipkart at a price of ₹ 4,000. For comparison, the basic BIP 3 model starts at ₹ 3,000, but only a ₹ 3,500 version is now available. Note that the official recommended prices of the two watches are ₹ 6,000 and ₹ 5,000 respectively, but there are nearly constant discounts as long as stocks are available.

What’s the difference between the two? In short, the Pro has a built-in GPS receiver (it works with four satellite constellations, actually). On top of that, both watches have the same body with the same 5ATM water resistance and the same 1.69 “TFT touchscreen (240 x 280px). Battery life is also the same, 14 days of average usage, 7 days of heavy use (this does not include GPS tracking, however).
