Chrono Trigger is always raised when addressing the theme of the most famous JRPGs of the 90s. The game has contributed significantly to the acceptance of the genre in the West, along with titles such as Final Fantasy 6. Almost every aspect of the game is vintage, and Chrono Trigger has long been cited as an influence by the creators. In terms of JRPG, the game is as iconic as they come. In this article, we will rank each member of the Chrono Trigger group. You can download the game from Google Play.

Fans of the series may decide to play Chrono Trigger again as the game’s considerably superior predecessor, Chrono Cross, was a bit of a flop in the Radical Dreamers Edition. The classic Square, which many people believe is the best JRPG ever created, helped redefine an entire genre and provided many foundations for the recently restored pseudo-sequel. We have curated a list of Chrono Triggers where we ranked each member of the group from best to worst.

Chrono Trigger: each member of the group ranked

1 Luca

Despite the fact that his ideas often fail, Lucca is committed to doing everything possible to support his friends and family. His he fighting prowess in terms of magic is matched only by Magus and he also has many useful skills. Although he has several combat flaws, these can be overlooked. So, Luca is the best.

2 Frog

Frog

Making the most of a terrible circumstance, Frog embraced his new form and strengthened himself with his newly acquired abilities. In the narrative, Frog battles his own insecurity and shame before facing the Fiendlord who cursed him in the past. One of the most impactful moments in the game is when the player challenges Magus in a 1v1 match simply with Frog. All that aside, he’s a solid fighter and an excellent addition to any group. Also, his peculiar ways of speaking in the English SNES version are cute and fun.

3 Ayla

Ayla is emotionally less attractive and less complicated than someone. She is a character with many personalities, though, and she shows herself in pretty much everything she does. Her role in her legend explains why she talks and moves in a particular way and how she fights. She has the potential to deal the most damage in the entire game, and her looting ability is priceless.

4 Magician

Magician

Magus is a bit of a mystery to most of the narrative. He is a skilled wizard and the one who cursed Glenn to turn him into Frog. He leads a mighty army and wields a beautiful scythe. Some of the highlights of the game are the theme of combat and its confrontation with Frog. On top of all this, he has a terrible past and a purpose for wrongdoing that is less ethically clear than one might expect from a regular JRPG antagonist of the time.

5 Robo

Robo is a robot. When the party is thrown far into the future, Lucca fixes it because he comes from a distant future. He offers to assist Cronus and the rest of the group to repay them for their generosity because he can’t remember his original motivation. After discovering the truth about his past, he also engages in many existential discussions, further enhancing the science fiction aspects of the game. Robo is a good character overall, as well as having an absolutely killer theme.

6 Marle

Marle is a crossbow-wielding healer with an exuberant demeanor who ultimately turns out to be Princess Nadia. She usually has a strong will, unless the game excludes her from the gathering. Sadly, she ceases to be meaningful once the main storyline has moved beyond her subplots of hers. She is the canonical love interest of Kronos and, like many standalone princesses, she has problems with her father. Marle is a terrific asset to have around during fights because few people can heal like her.

7 Chrono

Cronus is the homonymous protagonist of the game. Akira Toriyama, the creator of Dragon Ball, created the characters of Chrono Trigger, and this is most evident in Cronus. In some works of art, he is one step away from being a Goku clone. He lacks individuality, instead functioning as a blank canvas for players to put themselves on. Cronus’s main flaw is that he is simply another anime swordsman. Sure, he can fight, but he’s the least interesting character in the game.
