Sneaking into New York
The action-oriented gameplay as Spidey is broken down in several ways. For example, there are short science puzzles that can be completed to gain experience points in Peter’s workplace. There are also various stealth sections in the game which feature new playable characters.
Players play the role of Peter’s closest and most passionate romantic friend, Mary Jane Watson, as she performs detective work as a journalist. The other character that players will love is Marvel’s fan-favorite Miles Morales, albeit a version of Miles who hasn’t yet adopted the superhero role.
In these moments of the game, the player sneaks between enemies while attempting to complete tasks. These aren’t the finest moments in the game, sadly. They sound good and deliver some great history moments. However, they can be a little annoying in repeat playthroughs, as they slow down the game a bit. That said, they’re actually pretty easy to get through, so they’re not a big deal in the end.
