European War 7: Medieval is EasyTechis the last strategy title, this time taking players through the medieval era, with the Holy Roman EmpireThe Byzantine Empire, Viking invasions, Crusadesand other similar themes based on real story. Now the main gameplay is to click on your forces and engage in strategic battles, which get more difficult as you progress through the game. In this article, we will look at European War 7: Medieval and share our first impressions of the game.

Revisit the history of the Middle Ages with its famous heroes

Starting with revision, European War 7: Medieval starts out like any turn-based strategy game. There are some introductory tutorials that teach players the basics, after which they progress through the campaign. This campaign is packed with content as you go through the end of the Holy Roman Empire, inside Rise of the Byzantine Empire, The Macedonian dynastyThe Hundred Years War, and other really important events, set in Europe.

The gameplay of the game looks simple enough, but some elements (such as the merging of different ranged or melee troops, special powers / attacks that generals have and other similar characteristics make the game more challenging. There is also a difficulty curve. which requires players to focus on improving strategizing and upgrading their troops, even if, at some point, the game becomes more difficult than most people would appreciate.

As mentioned above, the game spans various empires in human history (kind of like InnoGamesRise of cultures but with only battles) and features some truly iconic generals and famous people like Attila, Joan of Arc, Charlemagne, Arthurand other.

This forms a kind of story for the game. Also, paying for Legends like King of the Huns, Father of EuropeThe Eternal king, Arab knight, and others may offer players some extra benefits, the fairness of which can be discussed later.

Fight strategic wars, build cities and change the course of history

The game has three current game modes: Campaign, Conquest, And Territory, which also have Normal and Hard modes, so there is quite a lot of content for players, although there is always a chance that the game will get too repetitive.

The game revolves around turn-based combat where players move their units across the battlefield and attack the enemy, ending their chance when they can’t make any more moves. After that, they must prepare for the enemy’s attack. Like any other similar title, the game starts very easily, becoming more difficult as players progress through the game.

Now there is really nothing wrong with the game. In fact, it’s a great title if you’re looking for something good in the strategy genre. The only real problem is that at some point the game is going to get really, really tough, and even a little nitpick is about how the screen zooms when attacking enemy units, which over time gets a little annoying. No bugs or glitches were observed during our testing process, and the game was polished and cleaned up pretty well.

The game offers decent graphics with simple and easy controls

Visually, the game isn’t anything special to be completely honest. That’s not a major criticism, but the developers haven’t really done anything to make the game stand out. The graphics have a dull, dull look that some might like while others don’t. The soundtrack is quite decent and suitable while there is nothing really special about the sound effects.

This is the kind of game you don’t really have audio for, with your music or podcast playing in the background. The game has a fairly simple touch and drag controls, so there isn’t much to talk about in this aspect. The controls are responsive and give no reason for any complaints. The user interface also works quite well without any problems. It also has that faded look though.

No advertising, but IAPS existed in medieval European history

The game has no commercials, which is pretty good, but it does have IAP. With real money, the game can become much easier as players can get their hands on more resources quickly and also on the legends mentioned earlier. The game is offline, so there’s really no advantage over other players, but progression becomes easier.

Final verdict

The game is a pretty good title overall. EasyTech has had quite a bit of experience with these games and they have managed to make it fun and not a pay-to-win mess like many other turn-based battle games on the market. It’s a game that many can enjoy even if they’re not too rooted in the turn-based battle genre and the medieval European setting works well enough for it. It’s nothing new but it is
