The basics: offense, defense, resources, how to increase power, and more!

Let’s learn the basics first. To attack players or enemies on the world map for resources or other useful items, you need the troops and heroes. To train troops or recruit troops, you need resources such as timber, grain, iron, steel, silver. The more troops you have, the greater the power. The total power of the castle is determined based on these factors: –

• Lord Power – Level up the lord to increase the power of the lord (gain EXP lorn from PvE battles, missions, events)
• Troop Power – Train your troops
• Buildings – Build and upgrade buildings
• Technology: research and updating of technologies in the institute building
• Traps: Build traps in the workshop
• Equipment Power – Upgrade the lord’s equipment with the help of the blacksmith
• Heroes: Level Up / Upgrade Heroes

Rise of the Kings: – Resources – How to produce fast?

It is not possible to build the production fields inside the base. Go to the outside of the base and look for empty slots. Tap an empty slot -> choose to build farm / sawmill / iron mine / silver mine. The farm produces grain, the sawmill produces lumber, the iron mine produces iron, the silver mine produces silver.

How long does it take to produce these resources? Once the production field is built, tap on it and choose to read the details. On the details page, you will see how long it takes to produce a specific amount of resources. Also, on the details page, you can check the capacity. This amount of capacity shows the maximum amount of resources a field can hold. You will need to gather resources every now and then. After reaching the maximum capacity, the fields will no longer produce resources.

Where are the resources stored?

After collecting the resources from the production fields, the game sends them to the warehouse. Look for the warehouse building in the base and tap on it. Then choose the resources option. On the next screen, you will see the total amount of resources, the number of protected and unsecured resources. The warehouse has a special function; a small part of the resources are always reserved and enemies cannot take them away from your base. It would be best to keep it at its maximum level to store the maximum amount of resources.

Produce fast

There are several ways to increase resource production;

• Assign the heroes
• Upgrade production buildings
• Research the resource technologies in the institute
• Use accelerations

Assign Heroes: Tap the production field building -> assign -> tap the hero to check buffs; select the one who can upgrade the production boost. Note: assign it to the production increase slot.

Upgrade Production Buildings – Maximize all production fields and level it as the castle level.

Research the RSS technologies – Go to the institute building -> research -> resources -> tap the benefit and read the details -> there are some advantages that can increase the production of the resources.

Accelerations: Tap on the construction of the production field -> spend the gems to speed up the production.

Each building in this game is important. The first piece of advice we would like to give is to read the details of each building in the base. All you have to do is tap on the building and hit the details button. On the left side of the castle there are troop training centers, tavern (here you can see the missions). On the right side of the castle, there are buildings related to the alliance and the growth of the castle such as warehouse, trade council (trade with alliance members), war room (join the rally attacks by building this structure), institute (technologies research), workshop (building traps).

And, on the left side of the Hall of Heroes building, there are two buildings; embassy (unlocks alliance characteristics), blacksmith (upgrades the lord’s equipment).

HOW DO BUILDINGS MOVE IN RISE OF THE KINGS GAME?

Tap the castle buildings -> details -> life spell -> select the building you want to move -> select another slot (where you want to place it) -> confirm. Note: it will cost gems. And that’s a crazy amount!

Reduce build / upgrade time!

There are several ways to reduce the construction / renovation time of a building: –

• Boosts: – Tap that building -> accelerate -> use boosts (you can get boosts from daily missions, enemies on world map, event center, chapter missions)
• Join an alliance and ask for help
• Development techniques – There are some development technologies that you can research in the institute, which increase the speed of construction
• Use gems

⇒How to get the heroes?

The primary method of obtaining heroes is through recruiting in the hall of building heroes. But you can also get heroes in events. In the Hall of Heroes building, there are two options for recruiting heroes; regular call and advanced call. The rewards of both of these summons are quite different. Tap the magnifying glass icon to check the drop rate of these rewards.

You can get boosts, hero shards, knowledge potions, resources, etc. From here. Get free regular summoning scrolls every day, while the advanced summoning option has a cooldown of 48 hours.

⇒How do you use the heroes? Who are the best heroes?

You have to use the heroes according to their strength. There are three types of heroes; assistance, development and battle. Battle-type heroes are usually used in attacks. Development: These heroes can help you with their buffs like collecting speed buffs, production boost buffs, etc. You can assign these heroes based on their abilities. Assist – These heroes provide huge buffs.

The first real tip for using heroes effectively in Rise of the Kings is to familiarize yourself with their abilities. Go to the heroes menu -> tap the hero -> at the bottom, in the prestige section, long press the skill buttons to read the skill. Or tap the buff button for more details.

After reading the skill, you will be able to use the heroes wisely. For example, if a hero has the ability to increase resource production, assign him to the production field. If a hero can upgrade troops in battle, send him along with the army.

It’s up to you to use the heroes effectively. Read the stats, skill details, buff details, etc. If you have multiple heroes with the same skill, compare their stats and put the best one in the main slot.

To upgrade the heroes, you need knowledge potions. You can get it from missions, events, hero summons.
