Team GO Rocket recruits they first debuted in 2019 and have since taken over Pokéstop to steal items and fight Trainers who get in their way. They are also sometimes spotted flying through the sky in Team GO Rocket hot air balloons. If the players want to acquire Shadow Pokémon, they must first defeat the villains of the Team Rocket GO Grunts. In our Pokémon Go guide, we will discuss some of the effective counters that coaches can beat with Team GO Rocket recruits.

How to counter and defeat Team GO Rocket Grunts in Pokémon Go

Recruits are the lowest-ranking members of Team GO Rocket in Pokémon Go, but that doesn’t mean fighting them will be an easy job. They can be quite difficult to fight without proper counters and it is even more difficult for a player who is using a Mono-type squad to be more likely to be neutralized.

Fortunately, just before a battle, each Team GO Rocket Grunt taunts players with a single dialogue that also contains a hidden hint about their next lineup. Based on this, players can choose their Pokémon and counter them to their full potential. Here are the taunts that Team GO Rocket Grunts could use and their subsequent formations according to them in Pokémon Go.
