The in-game name is the name by which all players in the game call you. Players often want to change their game names if they don’t like existing names. With this in mind, NetEase has maintained a rename function in Hyper Front. Here are the steps to change your game name in Hyper Front:
- Open Hyper Front on your smartphone and log in to the game. Go to the game lobby screen. After entering the game lobby, tap on your avatar in the upper left corner of the screen. Your profile will open on the screen.
- On your profile screen, tap your existing game name. A screen will open where you can edit your profile.
- Go to Basic profile option and click the edit button next to the current name.
- Type your new name in the blank box and press Confirm. Remember that only the first time is free; after that, you will need to purchase a rename card with 100 Star Quartz every time you want to change the name.
How to purchase the Rename card in Hyper Front
- Click on shop icon on the left side of the game lobby.
- Scroll down and hit the items option.
- Click on the renaming card icon and purchase the number of renaming cards you wish to purchase. Each card costs 100-star quartz. You can only use one rename card every three days.
