The Araynyaka mission chain is the longest quest chain in Genshin Impact history. It has four parts and each part contains multiple side missions that must be completed in order to proceed further down the main mission chain. Each of these side missions sometimes also contain multiple parts that need to be completed. In this article, we will discuss the complete Continuously evolving parchment challenge walkthrough.
How to unlock and complete the ever-changing scroll challenge in Genshin Impact
After completing Royinjan chapter: Linga part of the Vimana Agama mission, you will be rewarded with an item called Strange parchment. You can view it from the missions tab of your inventory. This scroll is the beginning of the Continuously evolving parchment hidden exploration target. It does not appear in the quest list as it is a hidden challenge.
The parchment contains a map of Mount Devantaka with some places marked with a X. You will need to visit 3 of the marked locations and the last one marked with a circle contains a fire torch puzzle. Each time you complete a challenge, the scroll name will change.
Will go by Strange parchment to Unsealed parchment to Guide parchment to Whispering parchment to Mysterious parchment during the challenges. The order in which the locations are marked is the solution to the puzzle, we don’t have to visit the locations in that specific order. However, for the sake of simplicity, we will follow this order here.
Unsealed parchment
Teleport to the Devantaka mountain statue of the Seven. He slides southeast towards the arm to find a time trial challenge. Time Trial Challenge asks you to catch 8 anemo particles in 90 seconds. There is a bug at the time of writing where it says anemo particles but shows dendron particles instead. Since Sumeru is the land of dendro, it is safe to assume that dendro was the designated one. This may be correct by the time you are reading this. When finished, you will receive the unsealed scroll.
Guide parchment
Return to the start of the challenge and glide northeast to the location shown below. Here you will find a combat challenge. You will need to defeat three Ruin Sentinels in 60 seconds. Upon completion, you will receive the Guide Scroll.
Whispering parchment
Teleport to the waypoint above Port Ormos. Slide northeast to find the Sumeru Fisherwoman named Loumelat. Buy the formula for Sugar Bait by Loumelat. Make brown sugar bait from a work table. The ingredients are Harra fruit and Sumeru rose. You should already have plenty of them if you were gathering all the material you laid your eyes on.
Teleport to the North Waypoint of Mount Devantaka. Slide south to find a fishing spot. The fishing spot can be seen from the air as it glides. Start fishing and continue until you draw a scroll. If you followed our order, this should be the whispering scroll. It could be any scroll between Unsealed and Guiding depending on the order. You may have even accidentally caught it before while fishing.

Teleport to the waypoint below the Ruin Golem. From here you can see a field below with four torches. Slide to the field. Turn them on in this order: bottom left, bottom right, top right, top left. Congratulations, you’ve just completed the ever-changing scroll hidden exploration objective. Lighting the torches will generate a luxurious chest. It will also reward the achievements of the Wonders of the World Call of the city without a name.
