Genshin Impact “Golden Slumber IV: Dreams Beneath the Searing Sand” World Quest Guide & Tips

Upon completion of Al-Ahmar’s secret world research in Genshin Impact the sequel called “Dreams in the burning sand” will appear in the missions tab. This is a part of the Golden Slumber Quest Chain series, which is introduced in 3.1 Update.

The quest for Khaj-Nisut

• Players should return to Sobek Oasis.
• When the cutscene ends, go to the next oasis. This should be easy if you’ve unlocked the teleportation waypoint.
• At the end of the cutscene, everyone must follow the marker and walk towards Khaj-Nisut. Unfortunately, there are still no teleportation waypoints nearby. There is no other option than to walk.
• When you reach the marked area, a movie will play.
• A hidden teleport waypoint will be available to unlock.
• Players must follow the marker and visit the Hermits’ camp, where they must be defeated.
• They have to look around for clues. They have to interact with every bright object. Elemental Sight must be used to find them easily.
• The clue is a short letter, found in a small tent.

After finding him, they must report to Jebrael.

Passing the three tests (1/3)

• The three trials can be completed in any order, but we have chosen a specific one.
• Teleport to Khaj-Nisut waypoint. Walk forward, slide down and find the entrance to the process.
• Enter the large room and interact with the mechanism in the middle. This will activate a wind current to the right. Jump into the room below.
• Pick up the blue triangle and place on the square mechanism on the floor in the next room.
• There is another blue triangle in the same room, take it and stand on the other square mechanism.
• Interact with the blackout cell to make the wall invisible.

• Head into the next room and defeat the Primordial Construct.
• Take the blue triangle and step onto the square mechanism.
• Interact with the cell to open the door.
• Unlock the door in the next room. Collect a Keystone (I) from the chest.

• Use the Keystone (I) on the door near the wind current. There will be a bright light at the bottom of the door where you can use the Keystone (I).
• Take a blue triangle and step on the square mechanism. Interact with the cell to open the wall. Open the chest in the room to collect a Keystone (II).

• Use the Keystone (II) on the door at the far end. There will also be a shining light at the bottom of this door.
• Take a blue triangle and step on the square mechanism. Interact with the cell to open the wall.

Enter the room in the center and interact with the mechanism to complete the test.

Passing the three tests (2/3)

• Teleport to Khaj-Nisut waypoint. Use the shamrocks to reach the trial south of the map. Enter the large room and interact with the mechanism. This will open a hole in the large room below.
• The room below contains an invisible labyrinth. Simply slide down until you are on the top layer of the maze. Don’t dive, your character could die from falling damage.
• The best way to solve this maze is to identify a wall and keep walking forward hugging the wall. If you come across a corner, move to the other side while continuing to hug the wall until you hit another corner. Keep moving forward as you hug the wall. Players will soon find a hole for the maze layer below. They have to slide down, not dive.

• The maze structure is basically made up of several large rooms stacked on top of each other, with a hole in the room below in one corner. The invisibility of the labyrinth is its only complexity. It is very easy to fix.
• When you get to the lower level, there will be another invisible maze. Keep moving forward as you hug the wall. Turn inward each time the wall ends, you will reach the mechanism in the center.
• Interact with the mechanism to complete the test.

Passing the three tests (3/3)

• Teleport to Khaj-Nisut. Use the shamrocks to reach the trial north of the map.
• Enter the large room and interact with the mechanism.
• Slide down the hole to your left into the room below.
• Defeat the Primordial Construct and interact with the mechanism.
• Slide down the hole into the room below.
• Defeat the Primordial Construct and interact with the mechanism to complete the trial.

• You will be teleported to the Khaj-Nisut waypoint. Follow the indicator and interact with the mechanism. A movie will be played.
• Use the shamrocks and reach Khaj-Nisut.
• Interact with the mechanism to open the door.
• Enter the large room and interact with the mechanism. There is a ladder in the corner of the room, take it and go to the room below.
• Interact with the mechanism in the center, facing the large room.

• The next puzzle requires you to guide three Primal Embers to the Primal Torches.
• Start by releasing the Primal Ember to the left of the room. This is left over from where you triggered the puzzle.
• Follow him into the room below. There is a Primal Construct but you can ignore it and continue following the Primal Ember to its corresponding Primal Torch.
• Climb the stairs near the Primordial Torch and interact with the mechanism.
• For the sake of correct orientation, go back to where you activated the puzzle.
• Players must drop the Primal Ember at the opposite end of the room. It is behind the main mechanism in the center of the room.
• They must follow him into the room on the left, then follow him into the room below and defeat the Primordial Construct.
• They have to keep following him, until he enters a room with a fan. Wait for the fan to stop and release it immediately.

• Players must follow him, until he reaches the Primal Torch. You have to interact with the corresponding mechanism as you did for the previous one.
• They have to go back to where you triggered the puzzle.
• They must release the Primordial Amber on the right.
• They should use the elevator and follow it to the room below.
• This room also contains an invisible labyrinth. They can follow the strategy they used last time and move around hugging the wall. Soon the player will reach the center.
• Players should touch the Primal Ember, sending it to its Primal Torch.
• They must return to the place where you released this primordial ember and interact with its corresponding mechanism.
• Follow the marker and interact with the mechanism in the center.
• This will activate a wind current. Ride it upstairs.
• There’s another wind current in this room, ride it.
• Use the four-leaf clover to move to the central platform with a mechanism.

• This mechanism has two options, “switch” and “operate”.
• Interacting with a “switch” changes the color of the prism from blue to red and vice versa.
• Interacting with “operate” the platforms move up and down with the color of the switch.
• The goal of the puzzle is for all receivers to receive a beam. Some beams are initially blocked by platforms.
• Move the platforms by interacting with the “switch” and “operate” buttons as needed. Move the platforms and solve the puzzle.
• Once the puzzle is solved, a four leaf clover will appear, use it to reach a switch. Interact with it. An elevator will be made available. Ride it upstairs.

• The top floor will contain Primordial Constructs but players will not have to fight them. They have to take the elevator to the other side of the room and move upstairs.
• Players should follow the indicator, a cutscene will play. You will have to fight Samail and his gang. It is not a difficult fight.
• Escape from Khaj-Nisut. Players must follow the path you took to get here. They should dive into the holes in the ground. You will reach the front door very soon.
• A movie will be played.

With this, “Dreams in the burning sand“Comes to an end. This is also the end of the whole Golden sleep chain of missions. Players will receive 50 first seeds as a reward. The achievement “Slumber, The Brother of …” will also be unlocked.

There is a sequel to the Golden sleep chain of missions, called Old notes and new friends. This quest chain contains two world quests, viz double proof, And Soheil’s wish. Double proof will help players unlock maximum free space and allow them to enter all previously blocked places. It will not be automatically added to the mission list. To unlock double proof, players should wait for the daily reset after completion Golden sleep and teleport to Aaru’s village.
