Fortnite first introduced Times during Chapter 2 Season 2. However, the way they work now is completely different than how they worked then. Previously the protocols were such that the player had to do it defeat a boss in the particular area where the vault was, then pick up the dropped card. Players would use this card to open the vault door. Now the system has changed and it feels much more like a power game than a real battle. There is no key to the vault, it’s just teammates, NPCor chicken now.

There are a total of 8 times and each of them requires a certain number of teammates. These are present underground. These vaults are featured in a not-so-disputed location, so it makes it a little easier for teams to find these bountiful loot. But then again the good and powerful teams fight against each other. How to open the Vaults in Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 2

A certain number of players need to open the vault. A hologram is displayed on the vault showing the number of players required to open the vault. The number of players required depends on the modality you are playing. The number of players required to open the vault could prove to be a barrier for some individuals not playing on a team. Therefore, Fortnite allows the player to use NPC or animals to replace the players.
