Recently, developer Treyarch launched the third season of Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War. And today they introduced new content that includes new playlists and a brand new weapon.
The weapon in question is the CARV.2 Tactical Rifle and players can only unlock it by completing the in-game challenges. This is the first of several new weapons that players will see during Season 3.
And yes, you can bring your shiny new pistol into Warzone. But only time will tell if this will ultimately affect the game’s multiplayer meta drastically.
As for the playlists, they rotate every week. Starting today, players can enjoy a Party Games playlist that includes modes like Sticks and Stones, Prop Hunt, and Gun Game. Prop Hunt has two new maps available. And if these modes aren’t your speed, you can play different modes in the Yamantau and Diesel playlists.
The update also brings Gunfighter Blueprints back to players. And you may have noticed an unexpected new item in your inventory. After the bugs interfered with the event, all players were given the Adler event skin.
