Motorola’s ever-growing number of smartphones are about to get even more cluttered, as the company plans to launch the Moto G Play (2022) in the near future.
The phone leaked today, complete with the images you see below and a full rundown of its most important specs.
It comes with a 6.5-inch 720×1600 IPS LCD touchscreen, the MediaTek Helio G37 SoC at the helm, 3GB of RAM, 32GB of storage, and a 5,000mAh battery with 10W charging support.
On the back we find a 16MP main camera flanked by a 2MP macro shooter and a 2MP depth sensor, while selfies are taken care of by a 5MP snapper. The Moto G Play (2022) runs Android 12, although Android 13 is already out. Compared to its predecessor from last year, this model has a different chipset and a high-resolution main camera, as well as a new, more trendy rear design.
Given the specs here, the main selling point of this device will undoubtedly be its price, which sadly hasn’t leaked. It has to be cheap, though, otherwise it can’t sell well. It is not clear exactly when it will become official, but it has to be soon. We will keep you updated.
