Qualcomm usually unveils its new flagship chipset on the first weekend of December, but we expect it two weeks earlier this year. The official website of the San Diego chip company has scheduled a Snapdragon Summit for November 14-17, when we will likely see the new Snapdragon 8 Gen 2.

The event was later removed from the website, and while it may be a false flag, we’re eager to believe the chip will indeed arrive in November. This would allow manufacturers such as Xiaomi and Motorola to enter the race to be the first manufacturer to launch a phone with the new chip.

Qualcomm didn’t reveal the date of its Hawaii summit five months earlier, so we think it was a real mistake by the team in California. There is still enough time for the rumors to continue and allow us to reconstruct the puzzle of the SM8550 platform. Early rumors suggested an unusual combination of 1 + 2 + 2 + 3 CPUs with one Cortex-X3, two Cortex-A720s, two A710s, and three A510s.
