Oppo today announced a new partnership with UEFA. The tech company will advertise its products in multiple tournaments, including the hugely popular UEFA Champions League. The agreement covers the next two seasons: 2022/23 and 2023/24.

Oppo joins UEFA in a two-year sponsorship deal

As part of the deal, Oppo will enjoy visibility of its brand on broadcast backgrounds, stadium advertising panels, as well as key positions on the Champions League, Super Cup, Futsal Champions League Finals and Youth League Finals website and social media.

William Liu, Oppo’s President of Global Marketing, said the company “believes in the power of innovation to help with life’s challenges” and the synergy with UEFA’s desire to fight in the face of adversity is a perfect partnership.

Guy-Laurent Epstein, UEFA Marketing Director, confirmed Liu’s words and reiterated that both sides are willing to work together to “connect and inspire football fans around the world”.

The partnership with UEFA is another important deal for the Chinese manufacturer. Previously, we have seen the company working with Wimbledon and Roland-Garros in tennis, as well as with the International Cricket Council. Oppo also briefly collaborated with FC Barcelona and in 2019 we even saw an Oppo Reno 10x Zoom branded in the characteristic blue and red colors.
