Oppo unveiled the A57 in April with Dimensity 810 SoC and 5G connectivity, and has now announced a 4G-only version powered by the Helio G35 chip.
This isn’t the only difference between the two variants, though. The 4G model packs a 5,000mAh battery that now charges faster up to 33W instead of 10W, but the screen refresh rate is reduced from 90Hz to 60Hz. It’s still a 6.56-inch LCD with HD + resolution.
Memory and storage also decreased. You get 3GB of RAM and 64GB of onboard storage. However, the Oppo A57 4G supports RAM expansion up to 4GB – which will hardly make any difference – and memory expansion up to 1TB.
At first the Oppo A57 4G looks identical to its 5G counterpart, but on closer inspection you can see the slightly different camera island design. The 4G version also sports the Oppo Glow design.
The rest of the highlights of the Oppo A57 4G include a side-mounted fingerprint reader, 13MP main camera, 2MP depth sensor, 8MP selfie camera, USB-C, 3MP headphone jack. , 5 mm, IP54 classification and Dirac 3.0 certification.
The Oppo A57 4G immediately runs the Android 12-based ColorOS 12.1 and has two color options: bright black and bright green.

The smartphone is priced at THB 5,499 ($ 160 / € 150) in Thailand, but those who pre-order it through online retailers can purchase it starting at THB4,999 ($ 145 / € 135). Availability in other markets is unknown.
