The iQOO brand will launch the Neo9 series next month, according to an official teaser on Weibo. The image also revealed the overall design of the lineup, which will have two circles for the two cameras on the back, while the hero color will be a two-color design with two different finishes.
A third of the panel will be a white woven fabric, while the other two thirds appear to have a leather finish, painted red. Realistically, both materials are probably based on plastic.
The official image is in line with previous rumors we heard from a reliable leakster. We should see a 6.78-inch screen with 1220p resolution, a Sony IMX920 sensor for the Neo9 and a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset for the Neo9 Pro.
The Neo series traditionally shipped with three cameras. However, in the latest Neo8 line, the vivo-owned brand has decided to remove the macro shooter and stick with a dual-camera solution. After all, the Neo is advertised as iQOO’s mid-tier, a step above the Z series but definitely not as powerful as the main flagship models.
