Hero Defense King is a new TD/tower-defense game for mobile devices. The gameplay is similar to other tower defense games. But it’s not spoiled by the energy system. It features amazing heroes, towers, skills, additional boosters and much more. And you can easily get gold/coins by playing. As of now, Hero Defense King game features 50 levels. You can play each stage in three difficulty modes; story, challenge and difficult. The amount of the reward varies. First of all, the player has to complete the story. Then challenge and after that, hard. As of now, there are four towers featured in Hero Defense King game: –

1. Shack
2. Arch Tower
3. Cannon Tower
4. Magic Tower

Barracks Tower

The maximum level of the barracks tower is 4. Upgrading the barracks tower increases the stats of the units; HP, attack and defense.

• Level 1 -> Conscript
• Level 2 -> Soldier
• Lv 3 -> Commando, Knight[You have two choices at this level]
• Lv 4 -> Gladiator, Guardian Knight[You have two choices at this level]

If you upgrade the barracks tower to level 3, a special buff will activate; Aerial shooting (if you choose commando).

Arch Tower

Max Level -> 4. Special Buff is triggered when you upgrade it to level 3 in battle[If you choose evergreen].

• Level 1 -> Arch
• Level 2 -> Reinforced
• Lv 3 -> Evergreen, Dwarf[You have two choices at this level]
• Lv 4 -> Ancient, Dwarf-High[You have two choices at this level]

Cannon Tower

Cannon Tower deals damage to enemies from a distance.

• Level 1 -> Cannon Tower
• Level 2 -> Big Cannon Tower
• Lv 3 -> Missile Tower, Electric Cannon Tower
• Lv 4 -> Missile Mine, Super Electric Cannon

Magic Tower

• Level 1-> Magic Tower
• Level 2 -> Wizard Tower
• Lv 3 -> Laser Tower, Summoning Tower
• Lv 4 -> Hyper Laser Tower, Dimensional Tower

Why the Tower of the Barracks?

Barrack Tower produces units. These units can easily stop enemies (who are fast). On the other hand, towers like arch tower, cannon tower, and magic tower cannot stop fast enemies. When you upgrade the barracks tower to level 3 (commando), air fire is enabled.

Why Magic Tower?

The attack power of Magic Tower is better than all towers in Hero Defense King game. And by deploying the magic tower on the battlefield, you can easily take down the air-type monsters.

To upgrade the tower, just tap the tower and hit the upgrade icon (it costs you wood, wood can be obtained by killing enemies).

On the home screen, on the right side, tap on the update option. Then choose an update type and confirm the update. For example, a strengthening recovery upgrade is available for the barracks tower that can increase the HP of all soldiers. It costs you stones and gold. Stones can be obtained by playing; just tap the + icon next to the stone icon at the top of the screen; then play the recommended stage.

In the battle, in the lower left corner, tap the skill icon to deal damage to enemies. You can increase skill stats and decrease cooldown by upgrading. Go to upgrade tab -> go to skill -> select an upgrade -> confirm.

In Hero Defense King, the first hero is Amanda. In battle, you can position the hero manually; the hero attacks automatically. You can use the hero ability to deal more damage. The hero’s level increases based on the number of kills.

You can upgrade the hero using food. Foods can be obtained from chests. Go to main screen -> hero -> go to growth tab -> select food -> and tap eat food button. It costs you gold.

Go to the hero information tab -> on the right side -> there is a paratrooper option -> tap it. As of right now, there are four units; guard, soldier, centurion and knight. New units are unlocked as you progress. You can upgrade these units to improve their battle performance. You can deploy these units using the ability in battle.

You can get gold and stones by playing the game. Diamond is a premium currency, used to purchase combat items; bomb, timber and missiles (go to shop). You will receive the diamond as a reward (daily reward, event tab).

1.) Check the path, find the right place

The first step you need to take in the battle is to check the path (find the skull picture). If there are multiple paths, find the right spot (in the middle of multiple paths) and place the towers there. Since you have limited woods in the battle, you have to drive wisely.

2.) Place the barracks and magic tower

There are many monsters present in Hero Defense King game. Some are slow, while others are fast. To stop fast enemies, you should place barracks. Because other towers are ranged type and high speed monsters can easily dodge their attacks.

So, make sure you place the shack first.

Magic Tower -> Place it near the shack. Magic tower’s attack power is better than other towers.

• Magic tower helps you deal more damage to enemies, place it near barracks to attack monsters (barrack units will stop enemies, magic tower can attack from a distance, as monsters don’t move, target will be accurate)

3.) Upgrade towers to increase performance

Make sure you upgrade the towers at the right time. Tower upgrade increases stats. Just tap on the tower you want to upgrade and confirm. It would be better to balance the update; barracks, magic tower – both.

To stop the enemies, upgrade the main towers first.

4.) Choose the Wisley Tier 3 Upgrade

You have two choices at level 3. Make sure you choose wisely. Go to main screen -> info -> tower – select level -> on the left side, you can check the difference between these two choices.

5.) Use Hero efficiently

The hero’s main ability activates after a certain amount of time and deals massive damage. You should use that skill when there is a huge number of monsters around you[to get most out of that skill]. You can also move the hero; just tap it and then tap where you want to move it. It would be better to move it to the front side[if there are multiple incoming routes, then deploy it on the center of these routes]. Use the hero ability at the right time. Upgrade the hero by feeding him (see the hero guide above).

6.) Play Hard Mode to get more coins

As you know, gold coins are used to upgrade heroes, towers and skills. To get more gold, just play hard mode (because the reward amount is high). Repeat the levels again and again.
