Xiaomi’s upcoming 12T Pro is rumored to have a 200MP main rear camera and in mid-August an image purporting to show its camera island was leaked. Today another leaked image, which this time shows a render of the Xiaomi 12T Pro together with the Redmi Pad, confirms the design of the island and the presence of the 200 MP camera.

This comes from one of Twitter’s most prolific tipster, and the juxtaposition between the 12T Pro and the also unannounced Redmi Pad is interesting, as the latter has to make do with an 8MP camera on the back. They are very different devices, one in the “T” line of “affordable flagship” or “killer flagship” if you like, the other clearly intended to be an entry-level budget tablet.

Despite their differences, both of them will arrive soon and there is a possibility that they may also be revealed at the same time. Xiaomi 12T Pro is rumored to be a renamed Redmi K50 Ultra, launched for the Chinese market last month, with the only upgrade being the main camera.

If it works, expect the 12T Pro to come with a 6.67-inch 1220×2712 144Hz OLED touchscreen, Snapdragon 8+ Gen1 chipset, 8 / 12GB of RAM, 128/256 / 512GB of storage, a 8MP ultrawide, a 2MP macro camera, a 20MP selfie snapper, and a 5,000mAh battery with 120W fast wired charging.

From these specs, the SoC and the odd screen resolution have both been confirmed by a listing in the Google Play Console.
